<p>Karen K. Miller, MD is the Chief of Neuroendocrine Unit and Director of the Neuroendocrine and Pituitary Tumor Clinical Center at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is a practicing endocrinologist and a continuously NIH-funded physician-scientist who conducts clinical, translational and fundamental research to advance the care of patients with pituitary disorders and studies the impact of hypothalamic and pituitary hormone dysregulation on body composition, bone and brain. She has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications. Awards in in recognition of her work and mentorship include the Endocrine Society International Award for Excellence in Published Clinical Research in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism and the Harvard Medical School William Silen Lifetime Achievement in Mentoring Award.</p>
